I'm Christian, with roots in documentary filmmaking: 15 years behind the camera and in the edit bay. I got my start at Zero Point Zero Production, working on shows like Anthony Bourdain's Parts Unknown, learning what it means to find a real story in the field and trust it enough to let it breathe. That's stayed with me ever since.
Today I'm Head of Production at SpinQuest, building original video content and strategy from the ground up. In between, I directed and shot field documentaries for Vox and Mic, and built video divisions from scratch at agencies.
My process stays the same whether I'm shooting, editing, or leading a team: listen closely, find the real story, build the system to tell it well.
I'm at my best early, when the brief's still loose and the work is as much about figuring out what to say as how to say it. If that's where you are, let's talk.
